Just curious to see if anyone else has has the following message in terminal.

The drive SA is fine. Has some bad sectors at the start but nothing major.

However during imaging the drive will drop out and read all bad sectors until powered off/on.

It is imaging however so more a question of curiosity than need.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I did suspect it was along those lines.

The file system has imaged fine and all files tested in imaged areas work so although slow to image its not the end of world.

Have got the solution to the pending problem for drives before F3 but as this is a live case no 'tinkering' will be done until the client has confirmed everything is 100% sorted.

If a solution is found I'll let you know as thanks.

You should set read timeout to ~700ms & soft reset to prevent the drive from dropping out.
