I have a Western Digital 120GB WD1200BEVS-00UST0 which spins up fine, but cannot be seen when attached to a computer.

I attached the drive to PC-3000 and ran the WDC Marvell utility. The diagnostics run fine and I get output that the SA dir reading is 'Ok' however directly after this, I get:

"Configuration reading......................... : Module 02 not found"

The drive comes out of busy mode and the drive ID is read fine. The one thing I did notice is that when I read the modules from the service area I only get a list of about 4 modules. I ran the 'Module search in SA' feature and it then gives me a full list of modules which I then used within the utility and managed to read them all out. I tried writing them back to the drive but I can't seem to get rid of this error.

Any ideas?

Which PC3000?

PCI or UDMA?

PC has poor support for Marvel drives
