Hey there!

I have a faulty Seagate st3200826a HDD. It does boing-boing sounds on startup and scary geiger-counter-like sounds afterwards.
I have access to PC-3000 Portable kit, but don't quite know how to use it well.
The HDD starts, makes boing-boing for some time (Head Mask FFFF - ... - in the terminal), then it becomes ready. The goal is to save as much data as possible without opening the drive. I've done H0, H1 and H2 thing in terminal, and it looks like head 1 has failed. As I see it, I need to turn off that head and extract data. Unfortunately, I don't know how to use that head disabling command (k - command), and I'm not sure it's what I need.
I had a drive with faulty head before. That time I used PC3000 Portable data extractor, created the head map and disabled the damaged head, and the rest of data was read all right. But in order to do that, I need to load CERT code from drive (again, i'm not sure). But on this HDD, I cannot read CERT, as it goes boing-boing every time I try to.
I've seen some files (CERT included) for that exact HDD in HDDGuru storage, but I don't know how to load them to PC3000 Portable.

ROM: Sign:Tonka Ver: M-27 FW: 3.03.131

Any help or other ideas are appreciated, thank you.
