You'll need to be a bit more specfic.

There are several fw dumps here on hddguru files...

Hi Sean, yes I have tried the 2 listed but they have incomplete ROMs
My Patient is WD1600BB-22GUA0
Donor on HDDGURU is WD1600BB-00GUC0

this is the error

Read ROM

HDDs ROM reading error Data request error - Device Error Detected: "Unknown error. Error code: 0017"
Read ROM modules

Module : 0D............................. : Module ID 0D reading error Data request error - Device Error Detected: "SCT INVALID LBA"
Module : 30............................. : Ok
Module : 47............................. : Ok

Write ROM
From file............................... : C:\Program Files\ACE Lab\PC-3000\Bin\!Profiles\WDCMarvell\Starling\WDC WD1600BB-00GUC0-08.02D08-WD-WCAL97580353\Data\ROM\ROM.bin
Invalid data size (131072). Expected (0)

Something's very wrong here IMHO, you can't even seem to be able to save the existing ROM :-(

What version on PC3K are you using?
