Hello, I'm experiencing problems with an HTS541 drive. The PC3000 cannot ID the drive and return that : Code: Loading modules table................................................. : Ok Loading the table of "open" modules................................... : Error Error :............................................................... : Error executing loading "open" modules dir command I think that these modules are required for the initialisation of the HDD. Can somebody help me with this ? |

Hi, Probably some main modules are damaged. Have you checked them? Probably PSHT. |

You say that you repaired it. So that means that one of the copies was good? Or did you rebuilt manually and copied it to the drive? After power reset, can you read PSHT just fine in both copies? DUMP doesn't matter. |

Copy 0 and 1 are bad (unreadable sector) but Factory copy was good. So I modified module RESF with the adress of PSHT of factory copy. Am I wrong of doing that this way ? EDIT : after power OFF/on, copy 0 is good and copy 1 and factory are bad ! |

Ok. So if you have copy0 fine, even if you don't get an ID, you should be able to access LBA. Have you tried it? |

So something is wrong with SA yet. Are you sure when you changed RESF, you didn't shift any other modules? |

Another option can be also to relocate SA. |

I wouldn't say it was just "SA relocation" like you would do it with the WD dir editor... |
