Hi guru,
I have spend 1 week for SDLD algorithm to analyze, and the result is still zero. Have a lot of checksum algorithm but with SDLD, this is the first i hear about it.

Hi everybody, Through Seagate user manual, in chapter 6.2 The "Tools" --> "Utillity extensions" menu, i saw term "SDLD, block checksum". Who can tell me what SDLD algorithm is, or any document about SDLD algorithm ? Thank you very much. |

Hi Guru, Thanks for your reply. With checksum formula in WD HDD, or Seagate (byte sum, word sum) i can understand but with SDLD, this is a problem. Any advice for me ? |
