I have Western Digital-SATA 2.5- WD10TPVT-00U4RT1- 1000 GB It was clicking then stops from spinning, I changed the heads from New Donor to the damaged drive, it did not work, same behavior. Now I put the native heads (that was originally in the damaged drive) into donor drive, it worked properly. Strange. I need Loader, may be it can solve the problem, because it is not head problem. Model: WD10TPVT-00U4RT1 Rom Info: ROM: ROM reading............................. : Ok ROM Data size........................... : 256 Kb ROM version............................. : 08.06B ROM generation.......................... : 08.06B Link table version...................... : 02.07. Will hotswap allow SA access? |

imaarouf wrote: It was clicking then stops from spinning, LDR wont help you. You should prevent SA access then check if spindle still stops. Maybe some surface has an error also. Donor heads work back in donor HDD, what did donor do with patient heads? Did you test this? |
