I apologize for hijacking this thread, but Pinoy I got your PM about the issue that I'm having with my WD HDD. I can't send you a PM back though cuz I'm new to this forum. Thanks for your input and I can provide more information if you are willing to work with a newbie who may have totally f**ed things up! But I'm just trying learn some things along the way as well...it would be great if I can recover the data as an end result, but if not I will be happy just learning about Hard Drives and the way they work....
