SORRY TO ALL I have this hdd WD800JS-75MSA3, PCB-701335-003 with clicking sound, What will be the first step to repair this hdd, i have to put the same pcb from the same OK hdd , only write rom from same family 75MSA3 with nearest serial number will be solve the problem ? OR any senior member face the same problem, the clicking in 75MSA3, what he will do, at first step. i know my english is not good, and i am also new in hdd repairing, thanks |

hello salim, please don't guess whether it's head or fw problem. you should diagnose with your tools to confirm, this is the first step, do you have pc-3000 or other tools? |
