Encrypted HDD

Hello,

i have hitachi 7K320-160(HTS723216L9SA60) hdd which is not getting detected in laptop.
This hdd is encrypted by Pointsec6.13 software .
i am able to make image of this drive using pc3k portable but data can not be recover.
if i export this image to another hdd using pc3k and install hdd in same laptop again will it work and data can be recovered or not?

You will need the software and a way to authenticate correctly to decrypt, for.example using a password, etc.

Have to ask the customer for authentication info, quite often the IT person at their company as customers themselves do not know what is going on.

If you have a full image that should work. Put it into a compatible drive and install it in the laptop. After this the laptop will be running fine and your costumer will be able to decrypt the data using the password like always.
