How was the drive used by the customer? In an external? What kind of system? Any other details? |

Its internal HDD .Connected secondary HDD for data storage(with single partition on win XP) Even if i tried raw recovery its shows data but unable to open |

Clone it as per einstein9's sensible suggestion. Then scan it with other recovery sw such as rstudio, UFS explorer, GDB etc... |

i again discussed with customer ,he said that drive is compressed drive. initially just i tried raw recovery and checked some jpg files which was currupt. then i found Z represents for zip so i recovered some folders which was dcm files so cant open with regular viewer its showing corrupt files (due to that reason i confused and whole hdd contains only dcm files) then i installed DCM viewer and checked data .(all ok) thanks gurus for kindly help specially labtech,pcimage & einstein9 (the super gurus helping us ) |
