Post subject:  WD30EZRX 3TB BRICKED AND NOISE
Hello, i bought a WD30EZRX 3TB and after a power cut the hd is gone from bios and makes a sound like in loop, can anyone help me? i attached an mp3 with the sound, the beep is from the computer start not the hd.

Your drive has a stuck motor. If there is no data of value, send it back for warranty. If the data is worth anything to you, send it to a data recovery professional for an assessment "BEFORE" you try DIY tricks that will likely make things worse.

I really dont have the money to send it to a profesional, i un bricked before a seagate barracuda i wish to learn how to repair this.

You simply can't connect a terminal and unstuck a motor on your drive. First because there's no terminal... :mrgreen:

Send in back for RMA and get a new one. If you screw around with this then you are out all the way around. You will not have a drive, data, or anything but a mess on your hands. Like everyone said this is not an easy one to do.

But if he does that, there is no warranty.

Also hitting a 30EZRX will result in drilling a hole in water.
