 Post subject: toshiba eeprom is burned

There is some method to reconstruct the eeprom on toshiba like WD. I have a case is a toshiba hd model mk5061gsy the eeprom is burned, I have 2 disk of the same model but the pcb is not fully compatible with the disk, when a exchange the pcb the disk do half boot.
I try to do a hot swap but unsuccessful.

I can do?

You cannot rebuild Toshiba, as all the adaptive info is stored on the ROM. Odds are, you are not going to recover the data without the original ROM info. You can try the trial and error approach of trying to find a replacement PCB with a ROM that works with the drive.
