Hi to all friends.
I have a HDD 2.5” 500GB Hitachi SATA
It contains bad sectors.
When I connect it to pc3000 pci ATA0 and using data extractor
in partition map , all MFT and MFT mirror records are equal to 0.
what should I do to recover my data?
thanks for your help.
regards.

There aren't enough details to go by to give an opinion.
Are you aware of the drive?
Have you checked ability to access random LBAs throught the drive?
Is the drive damaged in any way? Bad sectors ok, did you create map of the MFT and its mirror and have read them with various scripts?

Just need more info to possible conclude a possible cause.

Thank you "labtech" for your reply.
How can I check "ability to access random LBAs"?
How can I "create map of the MFT"?
As I searched the web, when MFT and MFT mirror are both damaged they said
throw away the drive or using third party recovering software to read all sectors in raw mode and make new mft.
My drive contains bad sector and it takes some days to do so.
I saw "Training materials for PC-3000 and Data Extractor" from Ace site but in "Work with damaged drive" the sample MFT contains data but mine is filled by "0".
thanks for your help.

Read the DE manual under NTFS and MFT.

Seems like this is the pirated PC3000 ver. Can't help much with it as I am not familiar with it, but the MFT scanning section may reveal something.

Why use PC3000 for a case with bad MFT? Do you know if boot sector is intact (native or backup)?

Thanks for your reply.
I see training materials for PC-3000 and Data Extractor" from Ace site.
As I understand there is no difference between original and other versions except user support.
MFT scanning section in manual has nothing about my problem.
