I purchased the PC-3000+DE in the Russian office ACE $ 2000. such price on their territory of Russia :). But they told me that if I will take the card to another country, they will block it. Is it possible?

They will block PC3000 card activation on their site
Once activation is needed (after installing PC3000 software or sometimes when hardware changes) PC3000 software will modify flash on PC3000 card and you would need to unlock it with activation license which can only be received from official license site. If they block your license on their site - you won't get the activation and your PC3000 will become useless piece of electronics
Also license server monitors IP addresses of all activation requests and flags inappropriate IP addresses from countries where your card should not be used. I also suspect (but not sure) that they might have a list of public proxy servers to ignore requests from such proxy servers, as well

There are always ways to spoof your IP if you really want

Why would they do this? surely this can only be viewed as a big "f*** you" to their customer.

If you buy it legitimately, what does it matter if you take it top another country. Dazed and Confuzed...

AIUI, forum member Dr-Kiev, formerly from the Ukraine, now works out of the Middle East. He might be the appropriate person to answer these questions, assuming that Ukraine customers are treated in the same way as Russians.

Pricing is area specific. They will be p1ssed if you're using the card "out of area".

As Guru said, pricing is area specific and judged according to differences in economies. Moving your card to another area is a breach of your contract and is likely to result in blocking of your card or inability to renew your licence.

Play fair with Ace, they make a great product which will generate revenue for you if you are a professional. It's simple - respect them and they'll respect you.

Let's say that the US price is $10K while the Russian price is $2K. Does this mean that a data recovery service which is priced at $1K in the US will be priced at $200 in Russia?

I activated the card in Moscow. Now I am in Turkey for work and want to use it. how to act? ace told to buy a new card and announced the price of 5,000 euros. Pick it up on the territory of Russia I did not do it. They are obliged to send it by mail DHL. ie if I send in komondirovku to another country, I need to buy in advance a new card :)))
To pay for the shipment and customs + taxes of the country. so the price has become a 8000 euro. how to get around to check them? and work with my card!

If enough people do that, then Ace will add a GPS to the card.

Easy way on your case is to buy/get alternative tools and don't buy locked Ace products EVER.
