Does PC-3K support Samsung HD253GJ Drives?

Hello,

I'm planning to buy a PC-3000 UDMA soon. Right now I'm working on a Samsung model HD253GJ that can't initialize. I checked the PC-3K website and this drive isn't listed as a compatible model. Does anyone who owns PC-3K know if it's supported.

Reason I ask - I'm planning to buy PC-3K soon. If this drive is supported I'll buy immediately otherwise I'm waiting till next month when I have more funds.

Thanks Guys!

Before you buy it , I would ask them about the PC3000-Express.

It is the next iteration of pc-3000

More expensive too

How much more expensive? And do you think it will support more drives/features, or is it just a speed increase. I noticed it has more ports, but I don't have a big workload at this point so I can live without that.

Just because it supports this model of drive, it doesn't mean that it will fix your issue. Bear that in mind when purchasing.

Thanks dellguy!

I actually managed to fix it by hotswapping another drive without PC-3000, but with the extra cash from this job I ordered one anyway. :D

Now I've just go to learn how to use it. :?
