Post subject:  Samsung Terminal plug?

Hi, I have a Samsung HD321KJ and I want to read the terminal output
but am confused as to which plug goes in to the terminal/serial connector.

I only have a 4-pin Terminal connector labeled "Samsung"

Am I missing an 8-pin block type connector?

If yes, how can I order one?

Thanks

Look in your Samsung manual for pc3k, there you see how to connect treminal using the seagate adapter.

I would refer you to a particular thread at the HDD Oracle forum, but it appears to be offline again. :-(

Anyway, here are some of the commands:

Thanks, all. I got it now: Use the Seagate-labelled 3X2 plug on the left-most 6pins and remove the 2-pin shunt to the right.
