Post subject:  Seagate ST2000DM001 - Recognize But Don't read any sector...
I have a Seagate HD and only remained in a busy state. I short the pins, acesss terminal and recover the translator.


Now the HDD recognizes normally (in PC3K utility) and is in READY, but not read any sector.
I need to recover the data and I send below the terminal message:

Can someone help me?

Having the information above, I'd say that you have either missed and haven't done something or somehow wrecked non-resident list.

Is the drive detected as zero capacity?

99% sure this is a simple firmware fix.
