"what should i do" ? maybe buy the genuine acelaboratory PC-3000 and the support that comes with it. "bumping" the thread wont get you any further. as you posted that you have pirate chinese pc3000, it is unlikely you will get help with its operation. sorry |

First of all you need to set up a neater configuration on PC3K. You have 25 retries on loss of readiness, which is not advised for first read of a damaged drive. Secondly, you need to create a head map for this drive and see if head 0 is causing this issue or other heads as well. This will help you determine whether the heads are at fault (most probably, IMHO) or something else. Thirdly, you should connect terminal to the drive and see what the terminal replies on all these errors. It should help you identify the problem. Since you own a PC3K I assume DR is your profession, no? |

Sorry, with chinese pirate pc3k you're going nowhere. Disregard my previous message. |
