Hitachi HTS547564A9E384 Recovery

Hello All,

I have a Hitachi HTS547564A9E384 hdd and want to recovery.
This hdd falling down when turn on.
Still detect it and no clicking sound.
All sectors have an UNC error and can not image it.
Atola report PCB and Firmware are pass.
PC3k report some of modules have an error and can not clear G-list and P-list.
Upload PC3k report.
I think this hdd need hea surgery.
What you think?

By seeing picture,
RAMO module is damaged, it is a overlay module.
P-list module is also damaged, and its backup modules which is PDM1 and PDM2 are also damaged.
CHNM = Adaptive module .

You are lucky that your hdd is still in detection.

Try use pc3k utility and import p and g list in program, then start data extractor. I hope it will help you.

Hi Waqas,

With PC3k can not import g-list and p-list!!!

Without the P-List, I think you're in trouble.

I think need head replacement, because can not create head map with Atola & PC3k.
I have not test to repair P-List Module because have a risk!!!

there are bad sectors in SA, so changing head will not help am afraid
is there factory copy available other than Copy 0 and Copy 1 ?
