Is there a database of scripts somewhere?
Is there a manual?

I would like to make a script that when coping via map of folder or files, if a BS is encountered the reading of the current file stops and skips to reading the sectors of the next file.

can someone help me with that?

thank you,

DE already has this option when you do "Save files." I think the option is "Skip files on bad sectors" or "skip incomplete files" or something similar (I forget the exact wording). You have the option to save them to another folder (which we do, so we can send customers a listing of all "good" and "problem" files).

Yes, DE does this well.

What I do is make a map to select the sectors pertaining to selected files, then clone them with option "skip chain on error" selected. Then select "use copy only" and save the files with the option to save files with unread sectors in a "!problem" folder.

I LIKE the idea, that is why i've just created a section on my forum under the scripts section so that people can upload and compile a library of PC-3000 and DE related scripts.
I don't have any at the moment, so the folder is empty, but fell free to update/upload the folder with the scripts that you can find, if you want, and we can start to build a compilation of scripts there, if there is interest on that.
Regards.

I think this is a feature that few if anyone has ever really used. The time you'd spend trying to figure out how to even write a custom script is unlikely to be worthwhile. Especially when other tools such as DDI can do a better job imaging.

Off the beaten track a little but same subject. Is there a facility in the DDI DRE to do the same thing? I have just got the network add-on for my DDI's so its still new to me. I think its available in the Ops Server, but how about DRE?
