I compared your rom with mine that i have dumped with eprom programmer.

My ROM:

As you can see on bottom picture, your rom (on the right) after FIPS 2.000 shows serial number "62413C71AA47W1" and firmware version "1AJ022uS", my rom (on the left) doesn't show those informations after FIPS 2.000

Is this normal?
Does it depends from firmware version or what?

What is wrong with the original ROM? The checksum for the first 256KB is 0x0000 and the FIPS checksum is also 0x0000.

why would you need the ROM in the first place ?
