I have a problem on cloning a SAMSUNG HD520HJ 500GB 3,5''

Disk have a broken PCB (no spin) so I have changed PCB and swapped ROM
After it I have full access to data and start to clone it.

Problem is speed: is under 10KB/sec ....so need my full life to make a full clone
Both heads seem to work well (more than 99,9 % sectors are green).

Not module damaged
I have try to clean A-LIST with not results.

Some guru can give me some good suggestion?
Thanks

I would guess you need to try a different PCB. Possibly there's a subtle difference which allows it to work but the read ahead buffer isn't working, causing it to essentially request one block at a time. Try a different one (closer if possible) and see if it makes a difference.

Was the donor PCB tested for issues prior to using on patient?

In fact no. Just bought PCB on a donor store.
I suppose was tested by seller.

Did you look what happens on the COM port?
If not, post full terminal log right from the power-on moment and also what the drive says during the copying process.

Also mention the P/N. Though it could be just HD520HJ.
If so, post full FW version, like 1AxxxxxM.123 or real family (engraved on the PCB), but FV ver. would be preferable.

Otherwise guessing is quite useless, as I can come up with a dozen of possible issues right away.

If you upload a detailed photo of the original PCB, I could try to help you repair it.
