You are shorting the drive to early it's all about timing with the Seagate DM drives.

By the way what's the problem with the drive?

Hello,

HDD remains in bsy state.
No buzz/no clicking/motor not spin down.

At power on remains busy & terminal output is

Boot 0x40M
Spin Up
Trans.

Spin Up
SpinOK
SnapshotEventOccurred( SNAPSHOT_INITIAL_VALUES ).
(P) SATA Reset

Tried motor isolation method but not worked.
In short circuit method give following output (HDD goes in ready state)

Boot 0x40M
Spin Up[LBA=0x000042F9]N01020C10o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0[LBA=0x000042F9]NO1111[LBA=0x00066E3B]N01010C10o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0[LBA=0x00066E3B]NO1111[LBA=0x00028F1D]N01020C10o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0[LBA=0x00028F1D]NO1111[LBA=0x0008BA5F]N01010C20o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0[LBA=0x0008BA5F]NO1111
SimError - Remaining in BootFW
Perform a double download without a power cycle

and after that if i restart utility without re-power it detects

Model : ST2000DM001
Firmware : SC48
Capacity : 3.86 GB (8 089 950)

So now I'd go in, edit module 93 to disable all the auto reallocation and idle activities so it'll start up normally going forward. Then try to figure out why it's not showing correct capacity, maybe it will after power cycle.

Before trying loader, see if you can read system files through terminal and see if any critical ones are damaged.
