Compare drive capacity and drive model, they are not corresponding each to other. Looks like your drive is truncated to 32 GB, by jumpers or by HPA/DCO, it should be 78142168 LBA's (~ 37GB), but you have 66 millions (~ 32 GB). Check in utility drive confiuration and turn drive to normal capacity.

Show us "Map" window.

Apart from the lack of capacity (might be 32 GB limit set by HPA or other way) if you can only copy 10% out of the 66 055 239 then most likely you have TRANSLATOR PROBLEMS very typical of WDC (cyl 32) drives like the one i've imaged here :

https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33182

You might need to :

1 - Get the totality of user space by disabling HPA and/or 32GB capacity clip.

2 - Re-gen translator.

3 - Clone/Image the drive.

Regards.

If you are still having problems with this drive (get data out of it) and if you want to outsource it to me in Portugal-Europe (and pay) i'm confident that i can fix the translator (or other firmware issues) and image it properly as i've done with the several other old WDC cly32 drives prior to Marvell MCU.

Regards and PM me if you want to send me the drive for recovery or if you need further assistence.

If this drive is the same as this :

https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=33380

then by the sound that you describe and by the fact that you can only image 10% i would say that you have translator problems like this https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=33182 almost for sure.

This would also explain the drive re-powering on it's own.

Stop playing with it and attempting to image it without properly fixing it first and backing up it's resources. You will end up killing the drive for good.
