Hi,

I hope you are doing great.

I have a SATA HDD with deleted info by a software customer used.

I used PC3000 to do a partition analysis and show deleted objects and it is not showing the deleted info.

Any suggestion?

I was advised to used R-Studio, but i do not have it available yet so I wanted to know if there is anything I can do with PC3000 before trying R-Studio.

Thank you for the help.

Best regards,

What file system is it?
You can also use the R-Studio demo version to see if you can recover the files before buying.

You can use PhotoRec freeware to search for specific file types.

Thank you for the help.

It is a ".gsm" it was a recording.

I saw the messages too late as I was in a hurry and I bought the R-Studio expecting I am going to use it in the future for RAIDs and others needs.

It was not available, well I found something like the file but it was 0 KB, so, looks like i just found the location where it was.

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,

If you have a good GSM file, or if you can create one, then examine its header for a signature. Then search for this signature on your drive.
