Post subject:  Problem with a Seagate ST31500341AS (motor)

Hello !

I tried to recover datas from a damaged Seagate ST31500341AS.

When I connect the device to PC3000, I heard that the motor try to start as you can see in this printscreen in attachment.
The disk is in busy state. After 4 or 5 minutes, the motor stop completely.

Do you have an idea if this hard drive can be repair with PC3000 or I have to change some parts ?

Thank you for your advices !

My money is on it being seized solid.

So will require platters and heads swap into a good chassis.
