Good day,

I've this Seagate Rosewood hard drive, it spins up smoothly but does not ID-ed and stays BYS always

Model: ST1000LM035
FW: SBM3

Terminal log
Bad CRC Seg:0x06
LED:0x000000BB FAddr:0x00004A18

Ctrl + Z doesn't work

It will be very much appreciated if anyone here know how to go about it?
Seen SMP flags issue (by Acelab) on Youtube, the terminal error is totally difference from my case.. wondering if this is something I should try?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards

You have to patch rom first in order to unlock terminal.

Than you can edit SMP if your heads are OK, or do it in ram.

But I see "Bad CRC Seg:0x06". So maybe you tried already to patch and something went wrong.

Better contact Acelab.

It's already been answered on the PC3K forum
You can upload the ROM if you want more details
