HDD GURU FORUMS

I have got this old Toshiba for recovery .Its very slow responding. In my pc3000 it shows unsupported family. Whcick make I should select ?

Thats a Hitachi 7210DLE6.

Yes If i select this family I can enter in utility ,I have backed up firmware as well.
But in DE I am getting lots of bad sectors.
On the other hand even I am selecting random toshiba 3.5" family I could read sectors at nearly 100mb/sec.
So actually is this toshiba or hitachi disk.
