Hello to everyone

The last week in my job we received a WD10JPVX-00JC3T0 with the pcb changed. We talked with the acelab technical support and they told us the FBLite firmware is very complex and for the moment it's not possible to rebuild the rom with the firmware. Despite what acelab told me, has anyone achieved a rom regeneration in this family.

thanks very much and my best regards

Is this one of those models where ROM module 0x4F is "unique"?

https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=37795

I was told (via PM) that if you disturb the adaptive parameters for head #0 on a working drive by as little as 2 points, the SA becomes inaccessible. This suggests that the adaptives are very sensitive. I haven't tried this for myself, though.

Yes, it is possible in many cases.
I could do it, pepe can do it even better than myself.

Hello,

yes, i am in Hungary, can probably recover it, depending on surface conditions that may affect success rate.

I can do it too :-)
Certainly, i have not made my attempts for a drive which was pre-opened.

Thanks Fzabkar for referring to my post that was written long ago!

Good Luck.

Just curious ... How many attempts does it take before you gain access to the SA?
