SpyGlass2 2.5 and Solve Slow responding problem, is it safe?

Model : WDC WD40NDZW-11MR8S1
Firmware : 02.01A02
Capacity : 5 TB (9 767 475 632)
Family: SpyGlass2 2.5
Can I run the solve responding solution or I will destroy the translator?
I know there are WD drives which such action will lost the data forever. Is it that family or it is safe to run it for that drive?
