Flash dump with tons of FF

I got a Chip ID 98D79432 TOSHIBA <MLC> with tons of "FF FF".
I read from a PC3000 blog that Toshiba MLC memory chip decreasing the power procedure helps to improve the reading result of the chip only with 19mn, 24nm and 32nm.
On the blog that there is "Read Retry ID 7 for MLC Toshiba" which usually get 100% successful result but I cannot try that because can't detect ECC.
I used solbase solution but still can't detect ECC maybe cause of too much FF.
Anyone has experienced this kind of case? Please give me any advices.

Was there very little data on the chip? Have you checked the SA the page viewer to see if there are actually read errors. Is the controller supported? Unless the controller and nand chip are paired in solbase with what you have you're usually wasting your time with it.
There's an option to find ecc with readretry somewhere in the menus - (I'm not infront of my flash machine at the moment) try that. But In my experience if you can't find ecc normally it's not going to help.
You can always experiment reading the chip at alternative voltages.

This chip is very old and read retry may not even be required here.
Your can just extract one block with data and run ecc bruteforce/codeword analyzer on it. Lots of FFs is nothing special, just a lot of empty blocks which is fine.

Externally you mean ? There's no way to determine or add a new ecc within PC3000 itself - at least none I've found.

How can I extract one block and run ECC brute-force? I was really trying to find out but I couldn't..
Does PC3K can do that? I tried PC3K and FE but could not find extract one block and run ECC brute-force. Please give me some HELP!
If you using other program, please let me know....
