This PCB has two e-fuses near the SATA power connector? Can you provide a detailed view of that area? As explained in your other thread, these fuses can be bypassed, with due care. I'll help you test the PCB prior to installing it on your drive. I just need a better photo.

These are the two e-fuses:

NIS5232, ON Semiconductor, electronic fuse, 12V, 4.2A, marking 232, DFN10:
https://www.onsemi.com/pdf/datasheet/nis5232-d.pdf

MP5018, Monolithic Power, 5V, 1A-5A Current Limit Switch, marking AMAy, QFN12:
https://www.monolithicpower.com/en/documentview/productdocument/index/version/2/document_type/Datasheet/lang/en/sku/MP5018/

Measure the resistances between Ground (eg a screw hole) and each of Vcc/Vin and Vout. If there are no shorts, then power up the PCB and measure the voltages at those same points.

I don't know if your PCB/model has any peculiarities, but the following case is now something to watch out for (different Seagate model):

Please don't make me watch any more 873MB videos. Just tell me/us the resistances and voltages in a few words of text. We don't need anything else.

In any case, you're doing it all wrong.

Start by selecting resistance mode. Place the black probe on a screw hole (ground) and the red probe on 5Vin. What is the resistance?

Next place the red probe on 5Vout. What is the resistance?

Do the same for 12Vin and 12Vout.

You don't need to test all the 5Vin pins. They are all connected together, so testing any one of them will do.

God bless you

Sir this is the result in sesistance mode
the AMAK 224 get super hot when i power on. i replaced it with with the same from donor but still get super hot
what do you think Sir? any answer will be very welcome

Data-Salvage,

I am working on dc550 18 To Western Digital PCB Helium damaged by water.
The disk come from a data center.
The pcb was not repairable so I have to use a part to make a swap.
Succes for this model.

Remember use a part to train : never use your damaged drive.

Good luck
