Wd charger pcb with broken pcb and mcu.

Hi,
A wd charger 2 TB come from customer with fisically broken pcb and MCU
Rom is good.
Is data recovery still possible?

Hi, thank for you reply
Customer tryied a diy usb port repair. Badly badly done. It ended xracking pcb along usb port side, cracking an angle of mcu.

The quickest way is to replace it with a compatible PCB and check if the encryption is active.
Are you sure it's a crack?

Pretty sure. Later i will desolder the die to inspect downside and pads conditions
Already tryied to use alternative compatible pcb (usb 800067) and hdd is ok, spins, ready state, sector edit:encrypted. If it is encrypted via usb i thing noway using full conversion procedure

it was not even mentioned which version it was (no model number, anything). If it is an old model, pcb swap is possible. Let's hear some more info about the drive, pls.
