Think of Salvation as ripping off all the commands and ability of PC3k and then making it into a cheapish Chinese version

Humm Disagreed ,
How Is ACE doing all the research .Do you guys thks that guys over there are reverse eng everything in the logic level and also the sa zones .Think again .They Too Might Have Reversed engineered original manufacturer utilities in a bid trying to learn from the same .Have you ever checked Vtool From Samsung its 100000% better then ACE for Samsung .I disagree this is part and parcel of this business so do not blame Salvation for that

I'm trying out their new Maxtor product now. The hardware looks like it has some interesting capabilities (Current and Voltage monitoring), but they really need to work on the software. It feels, and crashes, like it's an alpha. It's also klunky and needs polishing. In the future, I sure hope they put more effort into the software, but for right now, it's close to unusable. It's a shame, as Salvation could snatch a huge chunk of Deepspar's business. Between ~ $1500, and $12000, if the capabilities are similiar, it's just a no-brainer.
