Maxtor 52049H3 strange problem

Hi friends :)

I have this old 20GB HDD. It works in PC3000 as a 'Previous Model'. I can see the actual partition but it is inaccessible. Performed logical and physical surface tests and no problems found but I just cannot see any data on it neither with Data Extractor not Ontrack nor Runtime software.

I checked SA and no problems have been detected but when I ran "SA Testing and Recovery" it showed problems with module 18
UBA: 6; Copy: 0; Id: 18; Size: 313; Module: AT_PDL; Importance: Ad; Read: Yes; Header: OK; CS: Error
and same thing for Copy 1. It stands that this module is Unique for this HDD and essential to access the data. Can you tell me if this is why I cannot get any data out ot it? Can I fix that somehow?

Thank you for any clue.

Best regards,
Pawel
