You are using the PCI version which is now quite old and much more difficult to use. Also, PLIST is corrupt and if this is replaced, repaired incorrectly or cleared your data will shift. If you are unsure of the difference between SMB and RPM you should not mess with either, and also to ask if disk needs to be in normal or safe mode shows that you should definately get some help. Dont you have any support from Acelab?
Is 18h unreadable, or is header/checksum damaged? Can you select Module Recovery option to repair header if thats the problem?
If data is needed then you should practise on disks where data is not important first. any mistakes could make the data unrecoverable forever.
