we purchase two of these units and really pleased up to now
reverse copying of the hard drive sweet

well worth the money just trying to see what else it can do
anyone else bought one of these yet
During data recovery it is often necessary to copy data from the researched HDD to any undoubted good HDD for data processing in future. For some HDD this operation can take several days or even several weeks (it depends on the coped HDD efficiency). In case of computer using this process can turn out to be uneconomic or even impossible.
Device HIE-200 is designed for autonomous (without computer using) data copying from any HDD to another HDD at 8Mb per second. The device can be used for HDD cloning.
An unique hardware method is embedded in the device (there is immediate data transfer from HDD to HDD without CPU using) and thus data copying rate increases up to 8 Mb per second.
The device is recommended for using in service departments of computer firms and data recovery companies. If you need full copies of HDD having rare file systems (for example, XBOX, MAC OS and others) this device is also of much use.

Looks like an advertisemen ? ....

)))
First I surched through Google and found a chinese website offering a HIE-500
It looks like the HIE-200 on the russian bvg site. Newer version? Or just again
a chinese clone?
The link: http

If the unit works, less than € 300,- is a fair price - unfortunately the user guide
offered is only in russian.

Hey, they have an awesome price on a PC3000 ver 2.4, with a card that doesn't look familiar....

Dare someone use the B word?
I found a HIE-200, HIE-400, and HIE-500. They all look the same, and all seem to keep the same company as the above card. Makes me wonder....

Careful, they might come out with an HIE-600 device tomorrow.
