Gimmicks to sell more units....hopefully they have a nasty firmware bug that will make me rich this year...

how is the data encrypted? is it a user password?

I have a Seagate FDE.3 on my bench... Password is via BIOS so I guess it's ATA password setting.

Will have a look later :lol: :P
