Hard drive bearing / motor tool

March 31st, 2009, 22:46

I had a tool made for freeing up stuck bearings in Seagate, Maxtor, WD, and Hitachi 3.5" drives. I have some extras for sale - they are well made. If anyone is interested, please PM me. Included are special (long) screws and instructions.

Thanks.

How effective is it?

My only problem with this design is that your applying a rotational force away from its center thus increasing the chance of a vibration.
