RAID 5E and RAID 5EE

May 11th, 2009, 12:34

I have recieved a RAID 5E from Intel server, and am not able to access data outside of the unit. I have used most commercially available software, but cannot find anything that supports 5E.

I am awaiting for Data Compass to arrive as I know this can recover 5E, but jsut out of curiosity is there any other tools suitable to recover this?

I saw on ACE web they started beta testing of Data Extractor Raid Edition. I hope it will be much more powerfull than chinese product. Let's see. Actually nothing special in RAID5 e/ee. Just use easy formula:
brain+winhex=result

WinHex is the best. Download manual and see commands. Also used Linux works good and does help but WinHex is the best
