NEC NS50

Today I recieve NEC NS50 NAS unit. Does not seem to be of standard NAS configuration. Does anybody know if there are common or standard configuration on this unit?

is it a RAID?

if so, type? How many disks? etc

4 disk RAID, Linux based with REISERFS filesystem. 3 disks are fully functional, 1 disk physically damaged heads (WD5000KS). I have tried building using native order of disks, Left Symmetric Parity direction and variation of block sizes. I am not certain it is RAID 5, but assume so. Unfortunately customer cannot supply me any good information.
