Hello HD Gurus,
i ma a newbee.
i have a question.
i have one SCSI HD with firmware xxxx and i have e.g. same type 10 SCSI HD with firmware yyyy.
if there a tool to download the firmware xxxx and deploy to the other HDs?

nothing on the Internet. Easier to find the firmware you require and download it to the HDD

If your trying to change OEM on a Seagate for example give up now :O)
If your trying to change upgrade FW to a newer FW rev of same OEM then thats quite simple.

i have e.g. a fujitsu MBA3300RC or other types with FW 5701 (special FW for Fujitsu Siemens Primergy Servers),
but there is no chance to become this FW from Fujitsu Siemens to flash other MBA3300RC ("normal" HDs are cheaper), i must buy the HD from Fujitsu Siemens but because a "special" FW on it is.
i have a FW from FS for a MAP3735MC and i flash other MAP3735MC, works fine
