Hi all, i have a inoi media drive enclosure the pruduct has been working fine until i discovered that the hdd was faulty, so i purchased a new 500gb hdd which is compatable with the enclosure initlised and formatted the hdd with succes , i then transfered video to the drive as normal but it wont play the vids through the tv as before, it is just a blank screen when i turn it on.
any sugestions?

Make sure you are using the original composite cable and check the connections.
If you are using a SCART cable check the connections.
Also make sure the remote control is responding to media player.
i would go into your setup menu and select video output correctly
the firmware is on the media player and not the hard drive
it sounds to us that the video not correctly selected in the menu system

On some, I have seen you have to reload it on a blank HDD. There's external software to manage it.
Don't know about the specific model.

hi all, yeah i have tried different connection to the tv and it works, the scart lead interface/scart lead must be faulty ill check what it is at a l8r stage.

I have a similar question. I just installed a new hhd to my INOi Media player, and it work find on my pc, but somehow plug in TV it show NO DISC. Could someone help my. Thanks,

I assume you mean that the drive worked "fine" on your PC. For that reason, it seems unlikely that there is a problem with the drive itself. Therefore it is unlikely that this is the best place for you to be asking for help.

If the drive is OK, then that suggests you have a problem with the media player, or with the way you have configured the drive to meet the requirements of the media player (e.g. if it is a PATA drive, it may need to be configured in a specific way). Therefore if I was in your situation, I would be investigating the media player, via the support channels which know about that device.

Could it be that the drive is formatted with an NTFS file system while the TV is expecting FAT32?
