performing DR. The performance is nice but i'm looking for everyone's input from strictly a DR
standpoint.

I think that the data on the flash will not be necessary for DR. For what I understand, the use of flash is to speed up the access to the real data on the platters.

I put a couple of these drives in client machines as a replacement and they are fast as hell. But, most likely the drive will fail due to bad QC now a days.

The point of the post was to discuss the complexity of adding that 4GB adaptive flash to the DR process.
There has to be a ton of new things inside that drive and firmware "read" / "write" pathways through the
drive and board. I'm just curious since i haven't seen inside one of these yet.
