Drives with Apple Logo on them - are they any different?

Are hdd's with the Apple logo any different to non-branded Apple drives?

(For example, all Seagates found inside Apple PCs will usually have an Apple logo on the sticker)

Nope.

To stereotype, I would say they could be harder to recover because the damage seems to be consistently more severe than the rest of drives due various issues. An issue example could be poorer ventilation in MACs as they are more compact than other laptops.

Here is one difference:

Apple drives have a different sub test module, this may be built into S.M.A.R.T but may also be built into factory processing.

IBM for example uses their own "Blue Nun" test for HGST/Seagate drives that I am 100% sure of
