Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone has ever done an exploration into how the motor driver is set up in firmware for specifically Western Digital drives.
I know that there is feedback from the heads which is connected to the controller and the driver itself but what im trying to figure out is what the memory port location is and from that and a bit of dissasembly determine how the interupt and or timing setup is determined.
If anyone has has explored this and is willing to share what they have leared it would be most appreciated
