Solve this by finding Vs voltage. Get a free monolith mate adapter. People who solve this who are out of India will be shipped by speedpost (2 units) as they will have to bear shipping cost. Indians solving it will get 1 unit free inclusive of shipping charges

Person who comes up with first correct answer will be considered as winner and thats where the competition ends.

Added information: 0.6V1 is voltage controlled current source. Vs is voltage across current source of 12A and 0.6v1. Vs is to be found out.

A hand written solution is required to classify as winner.

If I understand the circuit correctly, Vs = 225V. That is, there is a voltage source in parallel with a voltage dependent current source.

There are two current sources in parallel. One independent source. Another is dependent source. Both are current sources.


Suggesting participants to please do a written solution with equations.

Brain fart. I'm used to seeing a current source symbol with two rings. My answer is still the same, though.

I understand that your challenge requires an explanation of methodology. I would not have answered otherwise. In fact this is one of those challenges where knowing the answer is of no help at all. Moreover, you wouldn't need to tell people "Sorry, you're wrong, but thanks for playing".
