Drives such as Seagate,SamSung,IBM,Hitachi,Fujitsu?Who have any firmwares about HDD 320 GBs,model 5A320J0, MaxLine II; please give them to me, Thank you so much indeed ! At present, i am researching how to repair HDDs , i have just bought a HDD repairing machine but i do not know how to use it 'Cause the seller did not give me any technique documents.

Please help me at first steps, i do not know how to start, Repairing HDD is my passion. Thank you very much.

What the hell is a HDD repairing machine? I want to buy one - no more fiddling with head stacks, no more soldering, testing, seeking the bay for donors. Great!

Yeah, I like the idea of simply getting the raw data from the platters very much. And then, simply of course :mrgreen: , reconstruct the PRML-encoded information from the stream, interpret it correctly and forget about Service Areas and other crap forever. But I think the thread starter was not referring to a 40GS/s waveform analyzer. More a chinese "PC3k" ISA or something. Come on, tell us!
