segate diagnostic command error

I am getting error with online segate diagnostic commands %, ;

F3 T>%
Invalid Diag Cmd

can any one plz explain
what is wrong with this?

Wild guess .. F3 Based :)

The clue is the F3 T> prompt.

You need to look at the available commands for T mode. Then the structure of the command.

I do the same thing myself NC - probably more often than you do :)

I have pressed Ctrl+Z to get the prompt in hyperterminal

my hdd model is ST3250318AS

The % command is obsolete on F3 T> hence the message.
